SCREENSHOTS

KEY VIEWS FROM THE BUILD

Qora marketing hero — a line of paper queue tickets drifting across an ultramarine field under a glowing 'Now serving P-16' LED board
Marketing hero — the line of take-a-number tickets breaks apart as you scroll, but the order holds. LED orange marks only 'now / you'.
Five guest ticket states from joined to 'It's your turn', each a ticket-stub card with position and ETA
Guest journey — one page, one code, five moments: joined, place held, heads-up, checked in, your turn. No account required.
Staff board with services sidebar, two counters calling Q-22 and S-24, and a waiting list with walk-in, QR and booked sources
Staff board — call next, serve, no-show, transfer, walk-ins, and pause/resume per service from a single list.
End-of-day report with served, average wait, abandonment rate, peak hour, visits-by-hour chart and per-service bars
Manager analytics — served, average wait, abandonment, peak hour, and per-service performance over ticket facts.

Overview

Clinics, offices, and service counters still make people stand in physical lines with no idea how long they'll wait, while staff juggle whiteboards and paper tickets. Qora replaces the line with an order: guests join remotely or as a walk-in, see their position and ETA, get a heads-up as their turn approaches, and check in on arrival. Businesses run multiple locations, services, queues, and counters from one console, and managers get reliable wait, throughput, and abandonment data.

02

Process

The design direction, “The line breaks”, borrows from public wayfinding signage and take-a-number tickets: Archivo set across its width axis (wide for signage, narrow for ticket numerals), signage ultramarine, an LED-board navy, ticket paper, and a single LED-orange accent reserved for “now / you”. Marketing gets the full material world; the guest screen is the ticket stub itself; staff and admin use the tokens with quiet chrome. Built as a Bun monorepo — TanStack Start web, Elysia API with Eden-typed clients, Better Auth with org-scoped access, PostgreSQL via Drizzle — with unguessable guest ticket tokens and no guest accounts.

03

Outcome

A live, multi-tenant queue platform covering the full loop: guest join and check-in, a real-time staff board, walk-ins and appointments that convert to tickets, admin setup from organisation to counter, and manager analytics. A PWA-first approach keeps guests out of app stores while still delivering approach notifications, and the design system carries one visual language from the landing page to the staff console.
